This past Thanksgiving weekend, BAFC held a Thanksgiving Workshop for the middle schoolers of our community. The theme for our workshop was “Expand My Heart,” which means to open up our heart to love others even though they may be different from you and to love everyone with a heart of sincerity and forgiveness. The participants were able to hear testimonies from the high schoolers and the college students that helped staff the workshop and lead teams about how they were able to practice the theme. We also played fun activities that strengthened the participants’ bonds with one another and theme related activities that helped the participants understand the theme more.
